ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
A SUDDEN DEATH. By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, Wednesday. Eliza Nicholls, a married woman, aged 38, died suddenly in an ante-room of the Magistrate's Court this morning. She was waiting to appear on a charge of false pretences, and collapsed in her husband's arms. She had been under medical treatment for heart trouble. SUICIDE BY HANGING. Dunedin, Last Night. Stephen Harrington, aged nineteen years, a son of Stephen Harrington, a farmer at Shiel Hill, near Anderson's Bay, committed suicide to-day. Deceased went on a milk round in the morning, and had dinner with his father. At 4 p.m. a younger brother returned from school and found deceased hanging in the outhouse.
