INSTITUTE OF ARCHITECTS.
ANNUAL CONFERENCE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Dunedin New Zealand Institute of Architects is holding its annual conference in Dunedin to-day. Mr. Atkins, oE Wellington, the president, presided. A deputation of 'builders requested that certificates of completion be issued to architects, limiting builders' liabilities, -which at present extend even after the certificate of payment is issued. A deputation who were headed by Mr. Lindsay, president of the New Zealand Builders' Association, also requested that the passing of plans by local authorities be attended to by architects and not by builders. The matters will be considered by the executive.
