: GREAT LOSS OF LIFE. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. London, November 26. A severe gale is raging in the Channel and on the west coast. It caused the collapse of a crane in Messrs. Vickers' shipyard at Barrow. Two people were killed and twelve injured.
The steamer St. Patrick foundered at Star Point. Five men were drowned. The action ef the sea has caused great erosion on the coast at Rhyl, North Wales, winch threatens to destroy the railway.
