A curious ease lias come before the Police Court. A retired railway guard was charged with interfering with a tramway appliance. The evidence showed that he' was discovered by a conductor trying to undo the centre pin of the coupling. Defendant testified that he was unconscious, through epilepsy. When the train stooped he thought lie was at kis old employment. The Magistrate accepted the Explanation, and the ?ase was dismissed.
