The, main engines are practically undamaged by their long immersion in the water and will be left in place, Langlands hoping' to use them to propel the vessal to Auckland when they have completed their, task; They are. very conildent of euccess now, and hope in a few weeks to be able to hand the monster steamer over to the work* men at the Calliope dock, Auckland.
