ADVERTISING NEW PLYMOUTH.
EXPANSION AND TOURIST LEAfit'E. Dr. Leatham presided over a full meeting of the New Plymouth Expansion and Tourist League last night, when routine matters, mostly in connection with the present canvass, were gone into. Mr. Percy White was added to the committee. It was reported that 20.0(10 envelopes advertising the attractions of the town and district would he readv for distribution in a day or two. Tli'ey are to he sold at cost price. The sub-committee's acliou with regard to office arrangements with the secretary was approved. The offices will he in Brougham street, between Mr. Corkill's and the Harbor Hoard Office. It was decided to ask the subscribers to send in their first year's cheques as soon as possible to Mr.'C'ollis, the Treasurer, or to Mr. Snowball, secretarv. It was decided to ask Mr. C. W. Oovett if he would accept the position of lion. legal adviser to the League. The question of securing accommodation was discussed at length, and it was decided that the secretary obtain a list of hotels and boarding-houses, and particulars of the number each will accommodate. The meeting was adjourned till Thursday evening next,.
