STUDY 'OF Till' CLASSICS, By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Tuesday. At the Presbyterian Assembly today the new Rhodes Scholar (Mr. Miles) was presented by the principal of Knox College and heartily congratulated. In reply, Mr. Miles said that it would be very hard to find an institution better calculated to improve a student mentally, morally and physically, than Knox College. Sopie discussion took place on the question of the course of study for students for the ministry. The report recommended the enhancement of the importance of Greek in the curriculum. Several speakers also emphasised the necessity of including Latin among the compulsory subjects. Sociology was also suggested as a compulsory subject. The Assembly rejected the inclusion of compulsory Latin.
