THE SEEETOX STRIKE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Reefton, Last Night. A Miners' Union meeting has declared strike pay to cease from to-day, and passed resolutions expressing sympathy with Mrs. Evans and calling on .the Government to protect life and property at Waihi. The Consolidated Group of mines is inviting tenders for works in the Energetic and Progress mines. It is expected that Thursday will see a number of men at work. The battery hands, etc,, will most probably be a week or a fortnight delayed on all contract work on the cooperative principle, the proprietary contract being barred.
