Gilchrist, Palmerston North, 132 points, 2; Miss G. D. Shepherd, Wellington, 130 points. 3. Bass Solo—Mr. H. Harre, Christchurch, and Mr. A. McDonald, Ohristcliurch, each 125 .points, tied for first place; Mr. D .V. C'ymro, Melbourne, 110 points, second. Ladies' Solo, oratorio or operatic selection and ballad —Miss Y, T. Bamford, Nelson, 140 points. 1; Mrs. P. Lewis, Wanganui, 141 points, 2; Mrs. Ivo Symes, Wanganui, 139 points, 3. Humorous Dialogue—Mr. James Culford Bell, Lower ITutt, and Miss Betty Purdon 1.
