SUPREME COURT.
WELLINGTON SESSIONS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Saturday. The Chief Justice granted decrees nisi in the following undefended divorce cases:—lsabella versus Alexander Scott Duncan, desertion; Maria v. William Absalom Duff, insanity; John v. Philomene Griffiths, desertion; Fanny v. William Thomas Whitaker, desertion and adultery. AUCKLAND SESSIONS. Auckland, Saturday. In the Supreme Court, a decree nisi was granted to Joseph Walters, farmer, of Waiuku, who married his wife in July, 1905, after a few hours' acquaintance. They only lived together for three months, then the wife left home. The Judge remarked:'"lt seems to me that the wife should have shown more care in buying dresses and the husband more care in taking servants." A decree absolute was granted William Hussey against Elsa Clara Blake. 1-lusscy is a farmer at Paerata. He was married on June *2l, 1908, to respondent. Subsequently lie learned that she was previously married to a man named Theophilus R. Blake. This was borne out bv the evidence adduced.
