IMPERIAL POLITICS.

JTHE GOVERNMENT'S INTENTIONS. WELSH DISESTABLISHMENT BILL. ,By Cable—Press Association —Copyright. London, November 15. The Government on Monday propose to negative Sir F. G. Banbury's motion jfcid to introduce a financial resolution differing from the original. Viscount Knollys had a prolonged interview with the Prime Minister and Speaker on Wednesday night. The King is. kept constantly informed of the developments. The Liberals are disappointed at the loss of time. Some contend that the acceptance of the Speaker's suggestion may be interpreted as a double defeat. It is expected that the Welsh Disestablishment Bill will be dropped, as it is doubtful whether the Home Rule Bill will pass the House of Commons by Christmas. Sir F. G. Banbury's motion will in no wise be bluntly rescinded. It is understood that the House of Commons will firstly adopt the amended timetable and thus regularise the situation. The discussion of the financial resolutions will be proceeded with as though nothing untoward had occurred. Last Monday's resolution, as amended, will be put and negatived in favor of a new one. The Prime .Minister's rescinding motion will thus he dispensed with.
