ROOSEVELT'S ASSAILANT.
"A MENACE TO THE COUNTRY." By Cable—Press Association —Copyright. New York, November 12. At Milwaukee, Sehrank, in a statement, said that he shot Roosevelt because he was a menace to the country and should not have a third term, and he shot him as a warning to others of a like mind. He added: "I shot Theodore Roosevelt to kill him. I think all men trying to keep themselves in office should be killed. They become dangerous." Sehrank pleaded guilty, and a commission was appointed to examine him as to his sanity. v
