The central council of the New Zealand Trained Nurses' Association sat this afternoon under the presidency of Miss McLean, assistant Inspector of Hospitals. About a dozen delegates were present. The proceedings, which are strictly private, will last till Friday night. A FOOLISH HOAX. j Christchurch, Tuesday. j The signature on the message supposed to have come from Lambert, trimmer, on the lost dredge Manchester, has been compared with his anthentic signature and the Marine authority has decided that the message is a hoax. The signature is quite unlike that of Lambert.
