GENERAL TELEGRAMS.
A GRIM FIND. By Telegraph —Press Association. < Auckland, November 10. Three hundred cordite cartridges were found in a rubbish bin when the dustcart was making its rounds at Parnell on Thursday. It is impossible to predict what the result would have been had the explosives remained unnoticed and been deposited at the destructor. Stray cartridges have been found on previous occasions, but never before in Auckland has such colossal carelessness as that displayed in this instance been discovered.
