SUPREME COURT.
WELLINGTON SESSIONS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. At the Supreme Court to-day Win. Knox, tailor, was charged with performing an illegal operation. He pleaded not guilty, and was defended by Air. T. W Wilford (instructed by Messrs. Fitzgibbon and Herry), and with him Mr. W. Perry. H. H. Ostler was Crown prosecutor. His Honor, the Chief Justice, ordered the Court to be cleared during the hearing, and forbade publication of the .evidence. The jury failed to agree, and a new trial will take place next Monday.
