WELLINGTON SESSION. By Telegraph—Press Association, i Wellington, Tuesday. In the Supreme Court a verdict of 'guilty was returned against Frank Loas- ■ by Tfocker, charged with having delayed postal matter. The Chief Justice, taking prisoner's youth into consideration, imposed a fine of £lO. Wellington, Last Night. At the criminal sessions of the Wellington Supreme Court George Maxwell, charged with forging a cheque for £3 9s and uttering the same, was found guilty on the second count and remanded till Thursday for sentence. Edward Wilfred Jacobs, charged that being bankrupt he had contracted debts without having toy reasonable or probable expectation of being able to pay the same and that he had failed to keep such books as would show his proper financial position, was found guilty on the second count. Sentence was deferred till Thursday. In Chambers an order for adjudication in bankruptcy was made in the case of A. B. De Saint Remain, dairyman, the sum of £lO5 4s being involved In Northcott v. Hughes, a claim in connection with a patent which was to have been registered in Australia, an order was made for the case to be heard by a special jury... . .
