A WORLD'S RECORD. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright, Melbourne, November 2. Linn, New South Wales, won the Syme Grand aggregate for the five matches, J with 231 points. Dabron, of the Charlton Club, scored 10 consecutive bullseyes at TOO yards, and continuing, secured ten more consecutively, a world's record.
THE TRENTHAM MEETING. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Saturday. The programme for the Trentham rifle meeting, entries closin'g February 13, shows the "A" series comprises seven events under service conditions, viz., Regimental teams' match, observation and mutual assistance match, casualty competition, Islington Cup match, C.A.C. cup match, competition in superiority of fire and teams' championship. The "B" series is compulsory on all competitions under ■ thirty years of age, and is described as individual service matches. Other events include the vanishing target, running man, etc., and Service championship. The "C" series is the Ballinger belt contest, and consist® of seven qualifying matches and final.
