I FIRE AT GORE. By Telegraph—Press Association, Gore, Last Night. By a fire at 3.30 this morning two shops in the main street, occupied by Joseph Ballintine (tailor) and Joe Let) (laundryman) were both gutted. The Chinaman saved nearly everything. Ballintine's stock was destroyed. The builds ings were owned by Willis and Waddel. Insurance: Ballintine's stock £IOO is the New Zealand Office, and on tke building £l5O, also in the New Zealani Office.
