By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Council of the New Zealand Football Association met this evening. The question of an appeal from the Kaitangata Club against the decision of .the Otago Football Association in awarding the charity final to Mornington was discussed at length, and finally on Mr. Wells' motion it was unanimously decided to uphold the decision of the Otago Association. It was decided to instruct the Otago Association to 'review the action of the Kaitangata Club in playing the players Johnson and Scott, and re-1 port to the Council within one month. It' was also decided to ask the South Can-1 terbury Association to show cause Why j these two players should not he sus-1 pended for taking part in. the Otago final. Tlie Westland Football Association was grunted permission to extend its season. The question of registered colors was deferred. The question of matters pertaining to the Taranaki Football Association was fully discussed, and decision was deferred until after a member of the Council reports on the matter. The secretary was given authority to ask the Commonwealth Football Association if they are prepared to play' any matches in New Zealand next season, should they complete arrangements for a tour to America.
