At the Empire Trade Commission the delegate from the proprietary medicines section of the London Chamber of Commerce gave evidence as to the detrimental effect of the Australian Commerce Act to British exporters of medicines and patent foods. He protested that the legislation was dictated by an interested section, namely the Government medical advisers.
