THE TERRA NOVA.

ARRIV AL OF COMMANDER EVANS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Wednesday. Commander Evans, of the British Antarctic expedition, arrived from England via Sydney to-day, and will join the Terra Nova at Lyttelton. The Terra Nova is expected to leave the southern port towards the end of December for Cape Evans, the base of the expedition, and will bring back Captain Scott and members of his party. The vessel is expected to return to New Zealand about the end of March.
