AUCKLAND MATCHES. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. The first round of matches under the auspices of the Auckland Cricket Association concluded to-day. The weather wis dull and showery. University defeated Parnell by live wickets, a three points win. Ponsonby beat North Shore fcy one wicket, and Eden beat Grafton by 130 runs on the first innings. The chief scores for the afternoon were Sneddon 51, Collins 61 (not out), and Cavanagh,6l, all of the Ponsonby Club.
