It is estimated that there was an attendance at the Henley-on-Yarra regatta of 100.000. The Albert Park crew won the Grand Challenge Cup. BALLARAT BAND CONTEST. Melbourne, October 27. Twenty thousand were present at the finals of the Ballarat Band Contests. The Rozelle Band, New South Wales, won the championship with 187, Geelong Municipal Band being second with 186.
