ENTERTAINMENTS.

THEATRE ROYAL PICTURES. A GREAT NORDISK STAR THURSDAY Owing to the Theatre being engaged for a rehearsal of "The Geisha" -there will be no pictures this evening, but the management will open again to-morrow night with a complete new programme, featuring a great 3000 Nordisk star drama "Black Blood" or "The Black Physician," a photo-play in three acts. It is the story of the love of an Indianddoctorr r dramatic to a degree bordering on the sensational, and is mounted and produced on a most lavish scale. As usual with the Nordisk star productions this picture is magnificently .photographed, and no expense has been spared in securing the finest possible settings for an exceptionally brilliant dramatic pourtrayal. Amongst the supporting items there is a Yitagraph comedy, "Psuedo Sultan." "Bunny" gets in soft as a Sultan, but the snap is too good to last. He does not meet the requirements of the job and is deposed, is dubbed a faker, and barely escapes with his life. As a Sultan he is a scream, and the biggest kind of a laugh. Another film of a popular nature will be shown entitled "Cowboy Life in the United States of America." EMPIRE PICTURE PALACE. •' There will be a complete change of programme screened at the Empire this evening.
