NEW PJfY MOUTH CLUB. A successful season was brought to a close on Saturday with a mixed forosom in wliicli fifty-six players took part. The daj unforunately for a mixed foursome, was dull arid threatening, and. a heayy shower fell during play. A large number of members and their friends were present, and as this was the final gathering on the old links, a photo was taken by Mr. Oollis, after which the President, Mr. Standish, ; addressed a few remarks to the members, congratulating them on the acquisition of the new links and inviting them to play on the old links during 'the summer. The prizes won during the season were then presented. A pleasant feature of the proceedings was a well-deserved presentation to Mrs. Bullot, who looked after the tea arrangements for some years to fclio entire satisfaction o£ the members. After three cheers were heartily given for Mrs. Bullot, the proceedings, were brouglit to a, fliurried close as rain was again threatening aaid members anxious to get home. Miss Glasgow and Reid were the winners of the match with the excellent score of 82 —10—72 for sixteen holes.
