LONDON MARKET. : By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. London, October 16. At the tallow sales 852 casks were offered and 480 sold; prices unchanged. L. A. NOLAN & CO.'S REPORT. L. A. Nolan and Co. report for the wek ending October 1{! Poultry.—On Saturday we had our pens well filled. Prices were very high, all classes selling well. Prices weTe as follows: —Hens 2s 7d to 3s 3d, cockerels 2s to 4s 4d, roosters 2s to 3s 3d, ducks 2s 4d to 2s Sd, ducklings Is 3d to Is lOd, chickens Od to lOd. Fruit—There is a very good demand for all lines offering. We quote: Apples (American) 14s to Ifis Gd, oranges 16s to 18s, asparagus 7s 6d per doz., rhubarb iy 3 d per lb, lettuce 4s fid per case. On Wednesday we held a clearing sale of furniture on account of Mrs.' T. R. Julian. There was a large attendance and prices were very satisfactory.
