AX INSPECTOR SHOT DEAD. By Cable —Press Association—Copyright. Received 10, 5.5 p.m. London, October 10. The Eastbourne police received a telephone message that there were burglars in the Countess Szataray's house. Inspector Walls went there, but the burglars shot the inspector dead and escaped.
