TELEGRAPHIC.

ARRIVED. . Wellington, Thursday.—Arrived, at 1.30 .a.m., Tonga viro, from London; at 12.35 a.m., Waibora, from Newcastle; and at 3.40 a.m., Aorangi, from Sydney. Newcastle, Thursday.—Arrived, Makawell, from New Zealand.

SAILED. Picton, Thursday.—Sailed, at 7 a.m., Haupiri, ior New Plymouth.

KARAMU ARRIVES. The Karaomi somewhat unexpectedly arrived from Newcastle at an early hour yesterday morning, having clone the voyage in fiva days. The vessel brought 375 tons of coal for New Plymouth, but owing to the shortage of labor it is unlikely that a start will be made with her discharge till this afternoon.

THE ALEXANDER. The Alexander, which arrived from Westport on Wednesday night, discharged her cargo of 300 tons of coal yesterday and sailed after completing loading for Wellington.

THE KOONYA. The Koonya arrived from Wellington yesterday afternoon with -500 tons of basic slag. ' She was .expected 'to complete discharging last night by midnight.

• THE OORINNA. The Corinna, which is due hero this morning from southern ports, will' have a very large cargo to land here, some 915 tons. She proceeds to Onehunga after discharging.

THE HAUPIRI. The Haupiri is expected here this morning from Wellington and Picton with about 25 tons of cargo. She sails for Onehunga after discharging.
