THE NEW ZEALAND ASSOCIATION

By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. A meeting of the Council of the Northern Howling Association was held tonight. Amendments in the constitution of the Dominion of New Zealand Bowling Association, as submitted by the New Zealand Bowling Association, were agreed to. The annual meeting of the Association was held subsequently. The Chairman, Mr. J. S. Keith, said that now that the two Associations had been united the Dominion Association would comprise 15!) clubs, with no fewer than 9000 members. This was a marvellous result when it was considered that bowling iwas a game .into which tire question of gate money never entered. The, following officers were elected:—President, Mr. Maurice Casey (Ponsonby). vicepresident, Mr. T. Bush (Wellington), secretary and treasurer, Mr. ,1. .T. tlobeu'trs; executive, Colonel Collins and Messrs. A. Veitch, C. Barv, W. Bnmskill ami J. S. Keith.
