THE WELSH MINERS. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. London, October 2. The miners' conference at Swansea passed a resolution urging State insurance for aged and infirm miners, by means of a special tax on the profits. Speakers contended that the Minimum Wage Act was ruinous to aged miners.-
THE MIXERS' CONFERENCE.
Received 3, 11.50 p.m. London, October 3. The Miners' Conference at Swansea rejected a motion requesting the Labor Party to introduce a Bill to establish uniform wages. The proposal was hostile!}' criticised as impracticable.
