Nippert and Lovell made, their first appearance at Tikorangi; and were well received. The former is the possessor of a strong, ricb voice/and his fine rendering of somewhat difficult numbers met with well merited encores. ''Messrs. Lovell aiul Wilkie supplied the comic element, Mr. Lovell's parodies'of the" Village Blacksmith, Casa-Bianc'a" and' Excelsior being exceptionally good. 1, Mr. Wilkie caught on wit'h''tlve". r t'h(f '"gods," but he .was heard to better advantage on hi» previous visit. Lomond" and "The Keel rapturously appealed to those whoihailed 'from "the "Land of the Brown Heath." The accompaniments were played 'by Mrs, A. George, whose orchestra also provided excellent music for the dance, and the committee desire to especially thank her for the kindness and assistance' which they have ever received at her hands.
