THE NAVY LEAGUE.
LEAGUE MISSIONERS WASTED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. _ The conference of the New Zealand Navy League concluded its business today- The following resolutions were adopted: That the conference communicate with the head office of the League in London, asking if it is possible foi one or more of the Navy League missioners now visiting Canada to come to New Zealand, and, if possible, to Australia; also that an opinion be invited from the branches as to the possibility of their contributing towards the expense of an organising secretary, who would lecture and form new branches where possible, and generally assist brandies ; that a wall card, setting forth the objects of the League, be procured for placing in schools; that where the League is not flourishing or a branch does not exist, the Chambers of Com-' merce and prominent citizens be approached and requested to form branches or deliver patriotic addresses, with the object of assisting the League.
