During an Albanian disturbance the rebels released many gaol birds. Seven entered a cafe at Uskub and wounded Mutinied Pasha, the military Governor. The gendarmes fired a fusillade in the cafe and killed their assailants.
An Albanian bandit killed his guards at an Austrian post near Janina. The Turkish troops near Scutari arrested seven innocent persons, alleging that they were, brigands, tied their hands behind their backs, and beat them to death.
Belgrade newspapers assert that the British. French and Russian Ministers warned Servia that the Balkan nations would not benefit from a war with Turkey, and added that the Powers would induce the Porte to effect an early amelioration of affairs in Macedonia. Nevertheless the War Office was purchasing large food supplies.
BULGARIA BUSY. Received 20, 1.5 a.m. London. September 2.5. The sudden Turkish manoeuvres at Adrinnople last week are regarded as significant. The Daily trail's Sofiia correspondent says that decisive Bulgarian action is momentarily expected.
The Malissori attacked an ammunition convoy at Tugi, destroyed the ammunition, and killed and captured a hundred troops.
