OTAK.I MAORI RACING CLUB. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Levin, Tuesday.. The Otaki Maori Racing Club's Spring, meeting was concluded to-day. The weather was overcast, but there was only one shower. The going was heavy. The totalisator turnover amounted to £BIBO for the day, making £19,432 for the meeting, an increase of £3OOO over the spring meeting of 1911. The following are the details of the racing:.— Second Hack Hurdle Handicap, of 90 bovs; one mile and a half.—Strathmoira, 10.11, 1; Don Carlos, 9.7, 2; liimitangi, 9.3, 3. Flingot 10.4, Sleaeombe 10.4, Strategist 9.8, Whimper 9.8, Aema 9.3, Papakiore 9.0, Merryvale 9.0, and. Ma,? voureen 9.0 also started. Sleaeombe and Strategist fell. The winner shot to the front a quarter of a mile from home, and ran in a comfortable winner by two lengths. Himitangi and Aema finished close to the second horse. Time 3.35 3-sth.

Otaki Hack Handicap, of 00 sovs; seven furlongs.—Bonnie Boy, 8.11, 1; Tlie Serf, 7.10, 2; Serenity, 7.5, 3. Katica 8.8, Big Blast 7.10, Charge 0.10 and Grandee (1.10 also started. Bonnie Boy took the lead in safe time and' won by half a length, Serenity being well beaten. Time, 1.37 l-sth.

Trial Plate, of 70 sova; five furlongs. —Lady Mildred, 7.11, 1; Paraparama, 5,2, 2; Yankee-Doodle, 8.13-. 3. Runaway Girl 8.13, Stockade 8.13, Panther 8.8, Peggy 8.5, Erekeker 8.1, and' Sir Daniel 8.1, also started. Runaway Girl made her run too soon, and was done with at the business end, where the placed 'horses raced out of tlie ruck, and finished all three within a length. Time,

President's Handicap, of 150 sovs; one mile.—Odessa. 7.10, 1; Mescal, 7.1, 2; Muleteer, (i.7, 3. Mulga Bill S.fi, Byron 8.4, Routine 7.8, Cork 7.0, Kilosteri' 7.2, Brown Trout 7.0, Lord Renown 7.0, and Moniform 7.0, also started. Lord Renown. Muleteer and Cork led along the back and into the straight, where Mescal, Alma and Brown Trout moved up. In a good finish Odessa was squeezed home by a long neck from Mescal, with Muleteer two lengths behind, and Mulga Bill, Cork and Brown Trout next.. Time, 1.51.

Electric Handicap, of 80 sovs; five furlongs.—War Queen. 7.10, 1; Perconcal, 8.0/2; Eocene, 8.3, 3. Lady Louisa 8.11, King's Favourite 8.4, Lady Volley 7.11, Vladinoy 7.2, and Charge 0.10, also started. King's Favourite set the pace, but could not last the distance, and left War Queen in command a furlong from home. Lady Louisa was prominent for a while, hut died out in the last fifty yards. A sustained run by Peroneal cut down all the leaders tout War Queen, who won by half a length-, with Eocena a similar distance away. Time,, 1.0. Railway Handicap, of 110 sovs; six furlongs.—Mt. Victoria, 7,10, 1; Patriotic. 8.7, 2; Deplov. 0.12, 3. Allurement 8.3. Turane 7.5. Merry Frank 7.10, Mon Ami 7.10, Gay Lawless 0.12, and Parewanui 0.12. also started. After a fairly close go Mt. Victoria won by half a length, with Deplov two lengths further off.' Time, 1.21. Rahui Welter, of 80 sovs; one mile..— Conlbeggan. 10.0, 1; Kina, 0.4, 2; Master Laddo. 8.10, 3. Matlow 9.11, Blend 0.4. Cornelian 8.0, and Kingswell 8.2, also started. Kina got a flyirtg start, but was overhauled and finally beaten by Coolbeggan, who won by a length, with Master Laddo two lengths awav third. Time, 1.51 3-5.

The thoroughbred stallion King Mark, purchased in England by the Hon. J. D. Ormond, arrived in Auckland by the Kaipara yesterday.
