The receipts for the nine triangular and two test trials were £12,403, of which Australia takes £2!)SG, and South Africa £IB7B.

The New Zealand Cricket Council approved the report from the Conference of District Delegates concerning the Plunket Shield conditions, and instructed the Management Committee to make tke necessary amendments in the rules. Under the scheme Canterbury' and Wellington will play annual matches with each other in a main centre, and Auckland and Otago will meet every two years. The Plunket Shield may i.e competed for in any match in which the holders are engaged. The New />,iii,nd Council will receive 5 per cent, of the net .profits of interprovincial games. It is explained that the object of the Council's share is to create a fund to send a j team to Austraia every five years.
