HURRICANE.

THE KAIPARA'S EXPERIENCE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Tuesday. The Kaipara arrived from Hobart this morning. She encountered a hurricane on September 19, which washed away deck fittings, stove in the ladies' 6aloon cabin, and flooded the officers' quarters to a considerable depth. The starboard gangway broke from its lashings, and was washed over the charthouse into the sea. A temporary bathroom and washhouse on deck were washed overboard, skylights were smashed, and some plates of the freezer were bent.
