He flew down Michigan avenue, scattering automobilists, who fled for safety in all directions.

Excitement was caused by the upsetting of a launch containing eight persons, who were flung into the water, but they were rescued by a tug. Two hydroplanes capsized simultaneously, and the occupants had a narrow escape. ,
