The Excelsior states that the Kaiser, when aboard the Hohenzollern, entering a Norwegian port, grew impatient at ♦he ship's slowness, and telephoned to the engineers ordering increased speed, an old Norwegian pilot, immediately telephoned to the engineers to ■disregard the order. The Kaiser angrily ordered the pilot to go below. Nordbuns refused, saying, "The ship is in my direction. Not even the Emperor is going to give me orders." The Kaiser ■quietened down, and on the bridge next day decorated Nordhuns.
