Telegrams from Kharbin state that the Chinese troops are treating the Mongolians in the most cruel manner. Neither women nor children are spared. They plundered a monastery and massacred the inhabitants of the surrounding district. They killed several thousand Mongolians elsewhere, mutilating the women and children.
