HOME RULE.
ULSTER DAY. By Cable—Press Association'—Copyright. London, September 17. The Trade Union leaders are perturbed at the approach of Ulster Day, as there is a likelihood of the unrest forcing Harland and Wolff to close the shipyard at Queen's Island, thus compelling the payment of out-of-work benefit to thousands, and also entailing the necessity of unions discriminating against unruly members. The Home unionis are considering the question of enrolling members as special constables to co-operate with the police in maintaining order. THE ULSTER CAMPAIGN. Received 18, 9.40 p.m. London, September 18. Mr. Carson will open the Ulster campaign at Enniskillen to-day. A disquieting feature of the situation is the rapid increase of the number owning/revolvers. One dealer in the Nationalists' district in West Belfast is selling 100 weekly.
