THE BRITISH ARMY.
INTERESTING MANOEUVRES. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. London, September 17. At the army manoeuvres the King spent a day on horseback in the firingline of General Gricrson's force. The defenders' airships and aeroplanes continue to report every movement out of reach of the rifles and artillery. A feature of the manoeuvres is the success of mechanical traction, relieving the invaders of the incubus of ten thousand horses.
