Count Tirza was received with torrents of abuse, and a free fight followed. Eventually the police were summoned to maintain order. STRENUOUS POLITICS. • Received 1!), 12.45 a.m. Budapesth, September 18. A hundred members of the Opposition, when ordered to withdraw, engaged in a terrific struggle with the police. Several were carried out. lvarolyi fought and freed himself, and returned and fainted. Count Esterhazy's finger was bitten to the bone. When the Opposition were expelled Tirza received an ovation. THE CHINESE LOAN. London, September 18. Half a million of the Chinese ten million loan has been paid over bv a London firm, which declares its determination to proceed in spite of the Six-Power Syndicate. It does not believe that China will denounce a signed agreement.
