A VICTIM OF THE STRIKE. By Telegraph,—Press Waihi, Saturday. At the inquest concerning the sudden death of John Harvey, a verdict was returned that deceased met his death by his own hand, taking lysol while of unsound mind. Evidence showed that lie was greatly troubled mentally and financially through the strike. ARMS AND THE BOY. Christi'hureh, Last Night. Clarence Pliimridge. aged 14, whose parents reside in Huxley street, Sydenham, was admitted to the hospital today, suffering from a gunshot wound in his right side. He lefts home in the morning with a ferret to go rabbiting on the hills, and was joined by.other youths. It is not known where he got the gun. Whilst clambering over some rocks, with the gun at full-cock, the trigger caught in a rock, and Pliimridge got the contents in his right side. ) His condition is considered to be rather serious.
