THE YELLOW PERIL.
HELP FROM AMERICA, Bv Cable—Pre** Aviation—Copyright. Svdnev. September 14. Mr. Noves, editor of the Washington Star, is visiting Sydney. In an interview, he said that the United States expected that if ever the time comes when danger threatens the Pacific—for instance, if Japan should organise the Chinese and together they should come this wav—that the people of Australia and Ne\v Zealand would be with America, as America would be with them. The would come when China and Japan must find an outlet for their population, and the white race would have to be prepared, for anything may happen. It was in the interests of America, and Australia to watch the Pacific. He thinks that when Mr. Bryce returns to Washington the little trouble over the Panama Canal will be overcome.
