For the Timaru-Christchurch road race, to be rim on Thursday, September 2fl (not next Thursday, as stated in a Press Association message yesterday), 118 entrants have been handicapped. The scratch division includes O'Shca (Australasian champion), D. Kirkham (Commonwealth champion) and X. Wadham (fastest rider in the Taranaki race); P. Huinm, .T. Clarke and J. Coulter are on the three minutes' mark; J. W. Wilson (Victoria) and A. Birch 4min; 11. Henderson anl H. 11. Ronalds smiri; P. B. Henry and A. R. Crook (Sydney) 7min. Twenty riders have received starts not exceeding lomin and the limit men have 40min.
