EMPIRE PICTURE PALACE. ROAD RACE PICTURE. The film of tlio Taranaki Circular Cycle Road Race will be one of the most interesting items to be shown at ihe Empire Picture Palace to-niglit. The picture includes views of Mt. Egmont, the committee, the Britannia Challenge Cup. getting ready for the start, limit men depart on the long journey, crowds lining the route as the scratch men start, at the racecourse, awaiting the return, five-mile motor cycle race, sensational spills, the winner (T. C. Collins), fastest time (X. Wiulham). In addition to the local film, a complete new programme will he shown, including the magnificent Lubin "star" feature "Honor and the Sword." The usual matinee will be held this afternoon, commencing at 2.30, Willi a new programme., including twn special pictures, "Blue Bird" and "Robinson Crusoe."
