WHAT NEW ZEALAND REQUIRES.
To tho Editor. Sir, — hi your issue of September 12, T note von have an -article oil immigration. "Time New Zealand Woke [Tp," which I (|nitc> agree with. Well, Sir, you doubtless will see by an article in another column, page 7. that I brought my family of wife and .four sons out here recently, and as you will see by the same article, that the local Magistrates told us that we, as immigrants, are not wanted, and has actually gaoled tiro ;of my sons because they hold a sound principle of their own. Well, as you see, we are being- driven back to the Old Country, and I would suggest my services as an immigration officer. I am well known by a wide circle of agriculturists at Home, and could recommend the proper sort of men (things) you require. which, 1 presume, would be wooden, either carved or turned, as I feel that they are what are required foi this country.—T am, etc., J. SET.LAR. Pa tea, Sept. 1.1, 1012.
