TIMARU-CHRISTCHURCH ROAD RACE.

By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Christchurch, Last Night. For the Timaru-Clrrwtcliurch cycle road race, which will be run on Thursday next, 120 entries have been received. The scratch ten will leave Timaru at 9.30 a.m., and, if the leather conditions are normal, are expected to reach Christchurch at 3 p.m. The race will finish at the Plumpton Park Trotting Ground, the Canterbury Park Trotting' Club ha vim' granted the use of the ground. °
