In the Taranaki-Manawatu game, Manawatu had the better of the contest without much difficult, the result being 4 to nil. Alias Ivy MeKenzie and Miss Co!lin«wood (Manawatu) did good work, and Miss F. Fairbrother, in her capacity as full-back, was highly effective on the side. Miss Arthur, the goalkeeper, did some clever stopping, and saved her side from several defeats. Generally speaking, the attacks throughout wore good on the -part of individual players, but following-up was inadequate.
