DAMAGES FOR FLAX-BURNING. By Telegraph— Own Correspondent. Wellington, Thursday. In the flax-burning case, A. A. Brown flaxmiller, v. Frank and Ralph Hadfield, the jury returned a verdict on the issues for the plaintiff. The amount claimed was £2827, but the question of damages was not submitted to the jury, as they are to be assessed by arbitrators.
